About This Course

Chiba Isumi Golf Club offers a beautifully designed 27-hole layout spread across gently rolling hills on a vast 47-acre site. The course features three distinct nines—East, South, and West—each providing unique challenges with wide fairways and an emphasis on straight, long drives. Playing Tips

1
Fairways across the East, South and West nines are generally wide, so prioritize keeping tee shots straight to take advantage of forgiving landing areas.
2
Many middle holes play around 400 yards, so decide when to be aggressive with the driver and when to lay up to leave a comfortable approach into the green.
3
The West nine is relatively flat but features strategically placed hazards and bunkers, so favor positional play over raw distance on approach shots.
4
Greens are bentgrass and can be receptive yet firm up on warm days, so check pin positions and be prepared for subtle breaks and variable speeds.
5
Seasonal coastal breezes can affect club selection—expect more wind in spring and autumn and be cautious during typhoon-prone late summer days.
