Playing Tips

1
Attack the front nine with longer clubs because the holes are relatively flat and reward bold tee shots.
2
On the back nine prioritize accuracy over distance as elevation changes, ponds and valley carries can heavily penalize errant shots.
3
Adjust club selection for uphill and downhill approaches—take an extra club for uphill shots and one less for steep downhills.
4
Bentgrass greens tend to hold approach shots but show subtle breaks, so try to leave yourself below the hole for easier uphill putts.
5
Wind can be unpredictable along the ridges—check the flag and add one or two clubs into the wind, and wear soft spikes as recommended.
