The course is hilly with frequent elevation changes so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots rather than relying on flat‑ground yardages.

Accuracy off the tee pays off because sloping fairways and uneven lies make recovery and stance setup more difficult when you miss the landing areas.

Approach shots to bentgrass greens require good distance control since the greens accept well but can play faster and truer on firm days.

Sea breezes can influence exposed holes and the elevated finishing holes, so check wind direction and strength before choosing a club for the closing approach.
