Playing Tips

Take advantage of the 900m altitude which typically produces longer ball flight by considering one club less for many long shots.

Prepare for variable and sometimes gusty winds on the open plateau and factor wind direction into tee shots and approaches.

Although many fairways are generous, accuracy is important on the forested/lined holes where errant shots can be penalized.

Bentgrass greens hold approach shots well but can play firm, so focus on precise distance control on chips and putts.

Being situated at about 900 meters, the course is generally cooler than the lowlands with refreshing summers, chilly mornings and evenings, a tendency for breezy or gusty conditions on the open plateau, occasional spring fog, and increased rain during the June–July rainy season.

Late spring through summer (roughly May–September) offers the most comfortable conditions, while the rainy season and winter (possible frost/snow) are less ideal.
