Wide fairways reward conservative tee shots, so favor position and accuracy off the tee rather than trying to overpower holes.

At over 7,000 yards the course is long for a mountain layout, so manage risk on long par 4s and par 5s and choose clubs carefully to avoid big numbers.

The front nine weaves through natural woodland and requires controlled iron play into tighter landing areas, while the more open back nine is exposed to wind—adjust club selection for gusts.

Bentgrass greens generally hold approach shots well but have subtle undulations, so take extra time to read breaks and expect moderate green speeds.

Because the course is rolling and mountain-influenced, pay attention to elevation changes which often require club up or down from the yardage board.
