Bentgrass greens are well maintained and tournament‑level, so expect firm, fast surfaces with subtle breaks and try to leave approach shots below the hole for easier uphill putts.

Exposed fairways can be affected by hilltop winds, so account for wind on elevated holes and err on the conservative side around hazards to protect your score.
