Playing Tips

1
The hilly layout with split fairways and independent greens rewards tee shots that leave a comfortable angle for your approach rather than simply the longest drive.
2
Mature trees and narrower landing corridors make accuracy off the tee more important than distance, so favor controlled fades/draws over riskier long shots.
3
Significant elevation changes affect yardage—take an extra club for uphill shots and one less for downhill, and account for wind swirling in hollows.
4
Greens are bentgrass and can be surprisingly fast and subtly undulating, so read breaks early and focus on speed control for lag putts.
