Playing Tips

Confirm which of the two greens is in play each hole because pin position and approach angles change the strategy significantly.

Despite the short total yardage, the hilly terrain and generally narrow fairways reward accurate tee shots more than distance.

Bentgrass greens are generally true but have subtle breaks, so take time to read the slope and expect quicker speeds when course maintenance is good.

Account for frequent elevation changes by adjusting club selection—club up or down as needed and avoid relying on rollouts on tight approaches.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns

Fukuoka has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and a rainy season in June–July, occasional typhoon influence in late summer and autumn, and generally mild winters, so conditions vary by season.

Best Season to Play

Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most pleasant conditions with moderate temperatures and more stable weather, avoiding the rainy season and peak summer heat.
