Playing Tips

Birch-lined fairways reward accuracy off the tee, so prioritize position over distance to avoid blocked or tree-lined approach shots.

Being a highland course, expect noticeable elevation changes—adjust club selection for uphill and downhill holes accordingly.

Bentgrass greens are very well maintained and receptive, but they tend to be moderate in speed so carefully read subtle breaks.

The plateau can be exposed to gusty winds, especially on elevated holes, so check wind direction at every tee and play conservatively when gusts pick up.

During summer (after the rainy season) carts are allowed on fairways, which helps save energy and maintain pace on the undulating layout.

Best Season to Play

Best played from late July (after the rainy season) through October for warm, dry days and clear views of the Hakusan range, while June’s tsuyu and winter snow are best avoided.
