The course is mostly flat so precision and course management are more important than raw distance.

Water hazards including river crossings and ponds come into play on many holes, so favor conservative club choices and avoid forcing long carries over water.

The riverside setting can produce shifting crosswinds and gusts, so check the flags frequently and adjust aim and club selection accordingly.

With both Bentgrass and Zoysia greens expect variable speeds and grain patterns, so take extra care on approach shots and when reading putts.

Soft spikes are required and the full 27 holes add up in distance, so wear comfortable shoes and pace yourself through the round.
