The Central Course demands accurate tee shots and strategic play, so favor placement over pure distance to attack its well-guarded greens.

Expect subtle elevation changes on the West Course across its gentle hills which can affect club selection and approach trajectories.

Approaches require attention to green type—bentgrass surfaces tend to roll faster while zoysia (Kōmō) areas hold more and are influenced by grain, so adjust speed and line.

Wind is often light in the Kanto plain but can be gusty on exposed ridges, so check conditions and tweak club selection on longer holes.

Play conservatively around bunkers and strategic hazards on the Central Course where risk-reward is pronounced; lay up when pin placements are tight.
