Well-placed fairway and greenside bunkers demand strategic tee placement—favor positioning your drives to open up the safer side of the fairway.

Large bentgrass greens have subtle undulations, so aim for the center of the green and focus on two-putting rather than aggressively attacking a tight pin when unsure of the slope.

Modest uphill and downhill holes affect club selection, so take an extra club for uphill approaches and consider one less club for downhill shots.
