The course is hilly so pay careful attention to elevation changes when selecting clubs, especially on approach shots where uphill or downhill can significantly alter distance.

Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards penalize wayward tee and approach shots, so prioritize accuracy off the tee and consider laying up on tighter holes.

With bentgrass greens, expect generally smooth putting surfaces that can be medium to quick in speed and may have subtle undulations—leave your approach shots below the hole when possible.

Wind can be stronger on exposed ridges and elevated tees, so check wind direction before each shot and favor controlled ball flight over maximum distance on windy days.

At about 6,715 yards, the course is on the longer side, so manage risk versus reward, conserve energy through the round, and use your long game strategically.
