The Shirane Course features wide fairways that reward aggressive tee shots, so be willing to use longer clubs off the tee to set up birdie opportunities.

Account for elevation changes—many holes play a bit shorter in the downhill sections but the long uphill 18th demands you to club up and avoid short approaches.

The reachable par-5 5th offers a chance to go for the green in two but treat it as a risk–reward hole and lay up when the wind is swirling.

Highland conditions and afternoon sun/wind can firm up the greens, so expect faster, truer putting surfaces and focus on controlling approach spin and lag putts.
