The course is hilly with frequent elevation changes, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots rather than relying solely on yardage.

Tree-lined fairways reward accuracy off the tee, so favor placement over sheer distance to avoid trouble.

Approach shots often play differently than the raw yardage because of slopes—focus on carry and landing areas when attacking the greens.

Bentgrass greens are generally receptive but can show subtle undulations, so read putts carefully and be conservative with long lag putts.

Wind around the foothills can be variable and sometimes gusty, so check conditions from elevated tees and adjust strategy accordingly.
