Take advantage of the wide, forgiving fairways on the front nine and be more aggressive off the tee to set up shorter approach shots.

The back nine contains many blind shots and significant uphill and downhill holes, so prioritize course management and aim for safe landing areas rather than risky recoveries.

At 7,018 yards the course plays long — longer hitters can gain strokes with distance while mid- and high-handicappers should emphasize position play and avoiding trouble.

Greens alternate between zoysia (generally slower and firmer) and bentgrass (faster and truer), so confirm the green type and adjust your putting pace and line accordingly.

Holes exposed on ridges are subject to shifting winds, especially in autumn and winter, so factor wind into club selection and consider clubbing up or down on elevated approaches.
