Suzuka Country Club is an expansive golf facility located at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains in Mie Prefecture. The course features 54 holes spread across three distinct courses—East, Central, and West—offering a variety of play styles. The East Course presents a challenging layout with water hazards and strategic shot opportunities, while the Central Course is a tough tournament-style course stretching over 7,000 yards. Most fairways are flat and separated by wooded areas, providing a pleasant and scenic golfing environment. Conveniently located about an hour from Nagoya and just minutes from the Ise-Seki IC, it’s an excellent destination for golf lovers.

East Course demands careful tee placement because several holes carry water and force strategic targets over hazards.

The Central Course exceeds 7,000 yards and plays like a tournament layout, so prioritize distance off the tee and conservative course management on the long holes.

Overall fairways are wide and relatively flat, making the course forgiving off the tee but you must be precise on tree-lined approaches and tighter green complexes.

Greens are a mix of Zoysia and Bentgrass, so check green type and speed before putting since Bentgrass surfaces will be noticeably faster.

Local mountain terrain can produce variable and gusty winds, so pay attention to wind direction on exposed holes and adjust club selection accordingly.

Located at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains, the area has a humid subtropical climate with a rainy season in June–July, hot humid summers with occasional thunderstorms and typhoon risk in late summer, and generally mild, drier winters with occasional cold snaps; winds can shift locally in mountain valleys.
