At over 7,200 yards the course rewards position off the tee, so pick the appropriate tee and prioritize fairway hits to avoid long, difficult approaches.

Water and bunkers are used extensively to shape landing areas and guard greens, so play to safe angles rather than always attacking directly over hazards.

The hilly layout produces elevation changes and exposed approaches where wind can affect club selection, so factor wind and uphill/downhill lies into your yardage.

Bentgrass greens generally hold well but can show subtle breaks and varying speeds, so aim to hit approaches below the hole and be conservative with downhill putts.
