The layout is relatively flat with generally wide fairways so prioritize keeping the ball in play rather than swinging for maximum distance off the tee.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and receptive, so focus on hitting the correct approach height and speed to stop the ball near the hole.

Highland winds can affect club selection—check wind direction on exposed holes and add or subtract clubs accordingly.
