Wide fairways reward conservative tee shots but strategically placed water hazards and bunkers punish overly aggressive drives.

Trees separating holes make accuracy important despite forgiving landing areas, so favor placement over distance off the tee.

Expect crosswinds from the river, especially on exposed holes, and adjust club selection and aim accordingly.

The course uses both bentgrass and zoysia greens, so check which green is in play since bentgrass will generally be faster and truer than zoysia.

Take advantage of the cart access to manage your lines and rest between shots, focusing on approach shots and short-game precision around undulating greens.

Kanto inland climate with hot, humid summers and a June rainy season, frequent breezes along the Arakawa that can produce crosswinds, occasional typhoon activity in late summer/early autumn, and cool, relatively dry winters.

Spring (April–May) and autumn (late September–November) are best for mild temperatures, stable weather and firmer greens, while summer brings high heat and a rainy season and winter is cold but playable.
