The layout is generally flat and open with gentle rolling terrain, so you can take an aggressive line off the tee but accuracy is still important because fairways are not very wide.

Wind off Omura Bay can noticeably affect trajectory and distance, so always check wind direction and adjust club selection accordingly.

At just over 7,000 yards the course plays long, so prioritize distance on par 5s while avoiding risky shots that could leave you with difficult recovery lies.

Greens are bentgrass and moderately challenging, so focus on hitting precise approach shots and take time to read subtle breaks and slopes.

Make use of the mostly unobstructed sightlines and lack of blind shots to plan conservative layups when in doubt rather than gambling for tight pin positions.
