At 7,100 yards the course plays long so favor accuracy off the tee and prioritize position over raw distance to avoid water and tighter landing areas.

Approach shots to bentgrass greens can be firm and fast, so aim for the center of the green and consider bump-and-run options when the wind is strong.

Three signature sea-crossing holes reward confident carries but punish short shots into water, so err on the conservative side unless you have reliable distance control.
