Otaki Castle Golf Club is a serene 27-hole course set on flat terrain in Chiba Prefecture. The club features three distinct nine-hole courses, each offering a unique challenge: the East Course with its clever layout and diverse strategies, the Middle Course with subtle undulations and increasingly difficult holes toward the end, and the West Course, which is shorter but includes sharp contours and numerous doglegs. Designed by Takeaki Kaneda and Gary Player, the course showcases well-maintained bentgrass greens and a hilly character, providing an engaging golfing experience for players seeking variety and challenge.

You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

打球建议

East Course rewards strategic tee placement and conservative play off the tee to open the best angles into the greens.

Middle Course features subtle undulations and tougher closing holes so precise iron play and distance control are essential late in the round.

West Course is shorter but contains many doglegs and strong contours, so consider laying up to preferred angles instead of forcing long carries.

Greens are bentgrass and well maintained, generally rolling true but they can be quicker on dry days so control approach speed to avoid long uphill putts.

The club sits near the coast so check wind conditions and adjust club selection and trajectory accordingly to avoid lost distance on breezy days.

Kanto coastal climate with hot, humid summers, mild winters, frequent sea breezes that can affect shot distance, and a higher chance of strong winds and typhoons in late summer and early autumn.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and stable course conditions, while summer can be very hot and typhoon-prone and winter is cooler but playable.
