Wide fairways reward conservative tee shots, so prioritize accuracy off the tee to keep out of bunkers and rough.

Several holes incorporate ponds and bunkers in strategic locations, so play for position rather than always trying to carry trouble.

Greens alternate between bentgrass and zoysia, so expect faster, truer putts on bent areas and slower, bumpier rolls on zoysia — always confirm which surface is in play.

The course’s gentle elevation changes and generally large greens make distance control and proper club selection especially important on mid-length approach shots.

Coastal breezes can affect exposed holes, so account for wind direction and strength when choosing clubs and shot shapes.
