Each of the three loops demands a different approach: North rewards strategic play, South offers wide fairways for confident tee shots, and East requires precise shotmaking into tighter targets.

Because the layout is hilly, pay careful attention to elevation changes and adjust club selection — uphill holes play longer and downhill holes shorter.

Wind can be variable and strong on exposed ridge holes, so check conditions and keep a lower ball flight when the wind picks up.

Bentgrass greens on a hilly course can be firm and subtly undulating, so prioritize accurate approach shots and read breaks carefully for two-putts.

Soft spikes are recommended and good course management from the tees will keep you out of trouble on the more strategic North and East holes.

The best times to play are late spring (May–June) and autumn (September–November) when temperatures are comfortable and mountain views and fall foliage are at their best, while midwinter can bring snow and midsummer can be hot with storms.
