Fairways are tree-lined and the course is hilly, so prioritize accuracy off the tee and favor placement over sheer distance to avoid the rough and tree trouble.

The downhill 9th is a standout hole—factor in the extra carry and wind on the descent as it can play longer than the card yardage suggests.

Greens are bentgrass and can be firm with subtle breaks, so attack with low, controlled approach shots and spend extra time reading greens for pace and slope.

Wind can be variable on the ridges and exposed holes, so check conditions on each tee and consider clubbing up for uphill or breezy approaches; use the riding carts to conserve energy over the rolling terrain.
