Bentgrass greens generally run true and can become surprisingly quick on warm, sunny afternoons, so be cautious with putt speed.

Highland breezes can be steady and shift during the round, so always factor wind direction and strength into club selection for tee and approach shots.

Natural woodland and tree hazards penalize wayward shots, so prioritize fairway hits and practice controlled recovery shots and low punch shots when required.
