At over 7,000 yards this is a long highland course, so prioritize accurate tee shots and choose clubs conservatively to avoid long recovery approaches.

Exposed sections can be quite gusty due to elevation, so play lower trajectories and factor wind into club selection on both tee and approach shots.

The course uses two different greens which can change hole strategy, so check which green is in play and adjust lines and distances accordingly.

Bentgrass greens tend to be quick and true, so focus on pace control and carefully read subtle breaks to avoid three-putts.

At about 1,000 meters elevation the course is cooler than the lowlands with chilly mornings and evenings, frequent clear days, gusty winds on exposed holes, and a chance of sudden afternoon showers in summer and heavy snow in winter.
