Bentgrass greens are usually smooth and can run quicker in warm months, so aim to land approaches below the hole and pay attention to subtle breaks.

Wind can be changeable near exposed ridgelines and on higher holes, so check prevailing conditions before each tee shot and adjust ball flight accordingly.
