Fast bentgrass greens reward controlled, lower-trajectory approach shots and make lag putting important, so leave your approach below the hole when possible.

Pot bunkers and strategically placed hazards penalize aggressive lines, so consider laying up on riskier holes rather than forcing long carries.

The mountainous layout produces noticeable elevation changes, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill lies and factor in roll on downhill approaches.
