Although the layout is described as mostly flat, expect subtle elevation changes and favor conservative tee shots to keep the ball in play on relatively forgiving fairways.

The bentgrass one-green surfaces tend to show subtle breaks and can be quicker in warm months, so spend time reading putts and factor for speed rather than extreme slope.

Approach shots should prioritize accuracy over distance because well-maintained greens reward precise iron play and leave you shorter putts.

Afternoons can bring light but variable winds, so check conditions on the day and adjust club selection slightly when the wind picks up.

Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November) are the best times to play when temperatures are comfortable, mountain views and autumn colors are at their best, and course conditions are stable.
