Hananoki Golf Club, located in the scenic hills of Mizunami city, Gifu Prefecture, offers an 18-hole, par 72 course stretching 7,018 yards. Designed to blend naturally with the surrounding landscape, the course challenges players with its strategic layout and unique hole characteristics. From summer 2025, all plans include the innovative Cool Cart, equipped with a PGM original fan system for a comfortable round even in hot weather. Since July 2024, Hananoki has been operated under the prestigious GRAND PGM brand, known for its elegance and high standards. Soft spikes are recommended for play.

At 7,018 yards and laid out on rolling hills, prioritize accuracy off the tee and manage distance rather than relying solely on power.

Pay close attention to elevation changes—club up for uphill approaches and club down for downhill shots to avoid coming up short or overshooting.

Bentgrass greens tend to play firm and quick, so focus on controlled approach shots and read subtle breaks carefully when putting.

Wind can be variable on exposed ridges and hilltops, so check the wind at each tee and adjust trajectory and club selection accordingly.

Take advantage of the Cool Cart in summer for cooling and hydration, and use soft spikes as recommended for better traction on slopes.

Mizunami (Gifu) has humid summers with a pronounced rainy season (June–mid-July) and occasional typhoon influence in late summer, while spring and autumn are generally mild and drier and winters are cool with possible frost or light snow.

Best played in spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November) when temperatures are comfortable and the course is firmer; avoid the rainy season and peak summer heat.

Please refrain from entering or using the facilities wearing jeans, collarless shirts such as T-shirts, training wear, sweatshirts, sandals, slippers, or any footwear without heels. Within the course, please wear golf attire, golf shoes (either soft spikes or spikeless), and a hat.
