The front nine winds through wooded areas with narrower landing zones so accuracy off the tee is more important than pure distance.

The back nine plays in heath-like tall grass and is more exposed, meaning wayward shots are heavily penalized and conservative route-finding pays off.

The 16th hole is a signature long hole with a large pond in front of the tee, so plan your tee shot carefully and consider laying up to avoid the water.

Moderate elevation changes across the hilly layout make club selection tricky, so trust yardage adjustments and account for uphill or downhill carries.

Greens are bentgrass and generally hold approach shots well, but speeds vary by season—expect firmer, faster surfaces in cool dry weather and softer targets in summer.
