The course plays long at about 7,090 yards so favor distance off the tee but prioritize finding the fairway because narrow landing areas and water hazards heavily penalize wayward drives.

Many holes are framed by pine trees and the elevated setting exposes the course to breeze, so always factor wind into club selection, especially on long approaches.

Rough and mound-like undulations around the greens make accurate approach shots essential, so aim for the center of the large bentgrass greens when pins are tucked.

Numerous water hazards require strategic course management—lay up on reachable par‑5s and avoid risky angles that bring water into play.

Bentgrass greens are large with subtle breaks, so spend extra time reading putts and be conservative when attacking from off the green.
