Kirishima Golf Club is a scenic 18-hole highland course located in Kagoshima Prefecture, offering pleasant play throughout the year thanks to its south-facing layout. Opened in 1957 as the first course in southern Kyushu, it features gentle terrain with beautiful views of Sakurajima and the Kirishima mountain range. The course is well-known among top players and has hosted notable tournaments, including events for the Kagoshima National Sports Festival. After your round, relax in the natural hot springs. Many holes offer clear views of Sakurajima and the Kirishima range but can also funnel prevailing coastal breezes so adjust club selection for wind on exposed holes.

Use the natural contours around the greens for chip-and-run shots since high flop shots are often penalized by surrounding slopes.
