You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

The Airport Course is long and hilly so carefully judge elevation changes and club selection on uphill and downhill approaches.

The Yokokawa Course has wide fairways and a more forgiving layout, allowing you to be more aggressive off the tee and focus on short-game recovery.

Wind from the south or from the nearby coast can alter ball flight on exposed holes, so check wind direction at each tee and adjust club choice and trajectory accordingly.

Greens are Bentgrass with subtle undulations, so take extra time to read break and speed and favour conservative lines when uncertain.

Take advantage of cart navigation/GPS to plan yardages and conserve energy for the tougher, longer holes on the Airport Course.

Kagoshima has a warm, humid climate with hot summers and mild winters, a June rainy season, and occasional strong southerly winds and typhoons in late summer; exposed, elevated holes can feel much windier.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most pleasant and stable weather for golf, while the rainy season in June and the peak typhoon period in late summer/early autumn are best avoided.
