Treat the front nine as an opportunity to score—holes are relatively straightforward so be slightly more aggressive off the tee to build momentum.

Play conservatively on the back nine where water hazards and a large pond influence several holes, preferring positional tee shots and layups over heroic distance attempts.

Approach shots must be accurate because the undulating bentgrass greens hold subtle breaks and demand careful speed control to avoid three-putts.

Make full use of the GPS-equipped carts for precise yardages to hazards and greenside trouble when deciding whether to go for pins or lay up.

Expect generally light winds but be prepared for gusts on exposed holes and during typhoon-prone periods, adjusting club selection accordingly.
