Because the course is gently hilly with minimal elevation change, prioritize controlled tee shots and course management over trying to overpower holes.

Wide fairways give forgiving landing areas, so focus on placement to set up comfortable approach shots rather than always aiming for maximum distance.

Greens are well maintained and generally true, so concentrate on distance control into the green and avoid long putts when possible.

Some holes can be exposed to coastal breezes from the Boso Peninsula, so check the wind and club up or down accordingly on exposed tee shots.
