You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

At 7,030 yards the course plays long so favour a balance of distance and accuracy off the tee to avoid long approach shots into hazards.

Fairways are generally wide and reward aggressive tee shots, but many holes contain strategically placed ponds and grass bunkers that will punish errant drives.

Wind off the Kinugawa River can be variable—check wind direction at each tee and consider lower, controlled shots when it’s gusty.

Be aware that there are both Bentgrass and Zoysia greens, so green speed and roll can change hole to hole and with the season.

Use soft-spike shoes and allow extra time in cool months for dew or frost to clear, as early-morning conditions can affect ball roll.
