The course is long at about 6,950 yards so distance off the tee is an advantage—pick clubs you trust to keep you in the fairway rather than always trying to hit driver.

Fairways are tree‑lined with white birch so accuracy and course management are important to avoid blocked recovery shots from the rough or woods.

Hilly terrain means elevation changes affect club selection—take extra club for uphill approaches and be cautious on downhill lies.

Bentgrass greens can be true and receptive but may run quicker in cool, dry conditions, so take your putt speeds carefully and read subtle breaks.

Use the GPS carts introduced in 2021 to help with yardages and hole strategy, and wear soft spikes as recommended for traction on slopes.
