Higashito Chichibu Country Club is a scenic 18-hole golf course nestled in the rolling hills surrounded by the Chichibu mountain range in Saitama Prefecture. Known for its expansive layout and natural beauty, this course was the first golf facility opened by the Higashito Motor Group. It also hosted the inaugural Higashito Motor Ladies Pro Golf Tournament in 1987, officially recognized by the JLPGA. Recent improvements in access, including the opening of a nearby toll road, have significantly eased traffic congestion on the return journey. Soft spikes are recommended for players to enjoy the well-maintained bentgrass and zoysia greens.

The hilly, rolling layout rewards controlled tee shots—favor accuracy over raw distance to keep the ball in the generous fairways and avoid awkward downhill lies.

Approaches to bentgrass greens tend to be quicker than to zoysia; play slightly below the hole and allow for faster speeds on bent surfaces.

Wind off the Chichibu ranges can pick up unexpectedly on exposed tees and elevated greens, so check conditions before each shot and adjust club selection.

Many holes feature elevation changes and downhill/uphill lies, so trust your rangefinder and account for carry and run rather than visual estimation.

Soft spikes are recommended for better traction on slopes and in wet conditions, and conservative play around sloping greens will often save strokes.
