The course is hilly with moderate elevation changes, so club selection on uphill and downhill approach shots is important.

Fairways are relatively narrow and the layout rewards accuracy off the tee, so favour placement over raw distance.

Korai/Zoysia greens tend to be firmer and give less roll on long putts, so focus on hitting approaches to the correct level and trust fewer putts.

Several holes are strategic rather than long—laying up to a preferred angle into the green often beats trying to overpower trouble.

Exposure on some holes can cause wind shifts from the Azuma/Adatara direction, so assess wind at each tee before committing to a club.
