Fairways are relatively wide so you can be aggressive off the tee, but aim for the center to avoid the pine and cedar-bordered rough.

Approach shots often come from uneven, uphill or downhill lies so take an extra club for uphill shots and factor reduced roll on downhill lies.

Greens are bentgrass with moderate speed—focus on distance control into the greens rather than relying on long putts.
