The course plays long at over 7,000 yards so prioritize both distance and accuracy off the tee to keep longer par‑4s and par‑5s reachable in regulation.

Fairways are relatively flat and open with good sightlines, so focus on placement to leave the best angle into the green rather than always trying to hit driver.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can run moderately fast with subtle breaks, so be conservative with putting speed and study the grain before committing.

Afternoon breezes often develop—check wind direction on long holes and adjust club selection rather than assuming calm conditions all day.

Although landing areas are generous, several greens are protected by bunkers and hazards, so a smart layup on long approach shots will often save strokes.
