Aim for the center of the wide, flat fairways off the tee to reduce the chance of being caught out by the course’s many water hazards.

Be mindful of the eight ponds that come into play on several holes and play conservatively to avoid risky carries over water.

Approach shots should factor in Zoysia greens that can play firmer and slower, so consider using an extra club to ensure the ball holds the green.

Pay attention to mild elevation changes and subtle greenside slopes when selecting clubs, as uphill and downhill shots can affect yardage and roll.
