The hilly layout features a variety of elevation changes, including uphill and downhill shots, as well as challenging water hazards, adding interest and variety to your round. The course's fairways showcase gentle undulations that enhance the playing experience without being overly difficult. Ideal for both tourists and business travelers, Dazaifu offers a pleasant golfing experience close to the city in a scenic Kyushu setting. Soft spikes are required on the greens, which are composed of Zoysia grass.

Accuracy off the tee is rewarded on this hilly course with undulating fairways, so prioritize placement over raw distance to avoid difficult lies.

Expect several uphill and downhill approaches and a few water-carry holes, so take extra club on uphill shots and account for wind on exposed tees.

Zoysia (korai) greens hold approach shots well but tend to be slower with subtle breaks, so aim for the center of the green and leave conservative putts below the hole.

At nearly 6,900 yards with a hilly profile, the course plays long, so staying in the fairway and managing your misses is key for higher-handicap players.

Soft spikes are required, so bring appropriate shoes for firm and uneven lies.
