The front nine has relatively wide fairways so prioritize hitting the center off the tee to set up comfortable approach shots.

Holes 11 and 12 play longer than the rest of the course and are the primary scoring challenges, so consider conservative tee or lay-up strategies rather than always trying to overpower them.

Subtle fairway undulations can kick the ball offline, so pay attention to your lie and choose clubs that allow for controlled, accurate shots.

Greens are bentgrass with moderate speed and undulation, so factor in subtle breaks and try to leave your approach shots below the hole for uphill putts.

Wind from Lake Toya and the surrounding mountains can be variable, so check conditions at the tee and adjust club selection and aim accordingly.
