Although the overall yardage is modest, the small greens demand precise approach shots so prioritize accuracy over distance into the green.

Coastal winds from Tokyo Bay can be variable and strong on exposed holes, so check wind direction on each tee and adjust club selection accordingly.

The hilly layout requires careful distance control on uphill and downhill approaches—take an extra club for uphill shots and be conservative on downhill yardages.

Bentgrass greens can play firmer and faster than expected, so concentrate on controlling putting speed and trusting the break.

Where fairways narrow or slopes come into play, favor positioning and layups rather than attempting heroic drives to avoid difficult recovery shots.
