On this hilly layout prioritize accuracy off the tee rather than pure distance, as well-placed tee shots set up easier approach angles on sloping fairways.

Be prepared for coastal winds from Osaka Bay and the Seto Inland Sea—adjust club selection and aim for the safe side of the hole on exposed ridge holes.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and receptive but contain subtle breaks, so aim for the middle of the green to avoid difficult downhill or side-hill putts.

Account for elevation changes on approach shots by taking at least one extra club for uphill distances and considering wind effects on downhill shots.

Remember the club enforces a soft-spike shoe policy, so bring appropriate footwear for traction on hilly turf.
