Despite its gentle terrain, the course is strategically bunkered—there are 84 bunkers—so favor accuracy off the tee over sheer distance.

Fairways are generally wide, allowing conservative tee shots, but many bunkers guard landing areas and approach corridors.

Bentgrass greens hold approach shots well, so focus on distance control and read subtle breaks to save strokes.

Being on a plateau near the coast, coastal winds can affect club selection, especially on exposed holes with views toward Rokko and Awaji.

Use the new ladies and senior tees and the course iPad GPS to pick safer targets and plan around hazards on tournament-style holes.
